After receiving over 275 incredible applications from musicians across the country and narrowing things down to 10 finalists, our panel of judges – led by Chadwick Stokes of Dispatch – selected 4 eclectic emerging songwriters who took over the Sun stage at Levitate Music Festival here in Marshfield MA back in July.
These 4 incredible acts: Nate Ramos, Autumn Drive, Stella Starfox, and Samantha Mckaige each delivered energized sets, which quickly became fan favorites, for over 10,000 festival attendees. And the best part? Their journey with The Foundation isn’t stopping there: Each of these artists will receive a $5k+ grant to produce their next album, giving them the freedom to truly express themselves on this record, work with engineers, studios, and producers of their choosing, and over-all level up their recording game.

Whether you’re an up and coming or established visual or sculural artist this one’s for you! Through the Emerging Artist Showcase, up to 10 artists will be selected by our panel of judges to be featured in a signature gallery opening this winter, and receive a grant of up to 5k to either further their education in the arts, attend a residency or retreat of their choosing, or complete a Passion Project they otherwise couldn’t! Creating exposure and opportunities for emerging artists in our communities with our two signature showcases – Songwriter Of The Year and Artist Of The Year, set the stage for emerging creators to display their craft in front of thousands of like-minded individuals and grants to pursue their craft.
In Levitate Foundation’s pilot season of 2023, we are supporting nearly one hundred underserved families so their children can attend summer camps and programs that inspire creativity and connection to nature. Now, we’ve helped over 400 kiddos have a formative camp experience at partner organizations who share a belief in the power of self expression, connecting with nature, and community!
